Riverside Stopping Place

The Riverside Stopping Place indicated as HOTEL on the 1897 and 1902 maps.

Until 10/11/2024 the name of this “Hotel” was unknown to the LCFRA webmaster. 

After finding excepts from Whispers of the Past, A History of the Chippewa Flowage by John Dettloff online. A map in the book has the name “Old Riverside Stopping Place”.
